Tankerton Evangelical Church runs a mums and toddler pre-school activity morning called "Tots@TEC". It is available to parents and carers from the neighbourhood and their pre-school children (0-5 years). This includes Dad's and male carers as well.  It runs on Tuesday morning's at 10:00am during school term time, check calendar for dates.

This is a great opportunity for pre-school children and parents to mix together and form new friendships before going to school.

There are plenty of activities suitable for children at this age, ranging from toys, craft, singing, story time, painting etc. Not only do the children have a great time but the parents can enjoy a good chat over tea, coffee and biscuits.

Child protection policy

Our children and young people are very important to us, and we seek to heed Jesus' warning never to put a stumbling block in the way of one of his little ones.

Because of this we have a child protection policy in place. It has been written in accordance with the Children's Act and we operate it in co-operation with PCCA Child Care.

All those who work with children and young people must complete an application form, and checks are made where necessary. Workers also attend seminars on the subject as necessary.

 

All our children's workers at TEC are fully CRB checked and we operate a full child protection policy.

 

We do not charge for these clubs as we want to offer a free gift for the community. We do operate a small tuck shop for drinks and sweets to purchase.
